My name is Shea Jochumsen. I am a highly ambitious graphic designer who's motivated by personal growth, with the eagerness to learn about as many avenues of design as possible. The expression of design and art are more than just a job to me, they are deeply intertwined into who I am as a person and how I view the world.
I first got into graphic design with intention to start my own clothing company in high school. This inspired me to pursue a degree in graphic design at Eastern Washington University, where I took part in extracurricular design projects such as, creating event flyers, clothing for local events and social media graphics. Shortly after I began designing cover artwork for local musical artists, which lead me into other supporting avenues, such as photography, videography, motion graphics and social media marketing.
I began my work at Genus Brewing Co. where I developed their brand identity and coordinated all social media affairs. I would take photographs for social media and website content, design beer labels, menus, clothing, event flyers and filmed videos for their YouTube. After 2 1/2 years at Genus, my next endeavor was World Wide Group. During my time I was responsible for utilizing and expanding upon various visual identities for clients through inbound marketing strategies via social media graphic design, creating visually appealing analytics reports, motion graphics & YouTube thumbnails.
Currently I am working as a Brand Designer for Par Pacific LLC. I am responsible for developing marketing campaign roadmaps and creating all digital and print marketing material for the retail sides of Nomnom gas stations in the PNW and Hele gas stations in Hawaii. I am eager to grow as a designer and seek a fast paced collaborative environment that challenges me to expand upon my expertise.
